Free service is evil.
We love free stuff. But when you ask yourself why the stuff is free? There are many answers. For me, those stuffs for free on this site OLXT.com are for attracting viewers. Am I a evil too? The answer is sortof.
Google provides lots of free stuffs as we know, those free stuffs force other companies have to provide free stuff too. Like email, we do love lots of features of Gmail including myself. Gmail can generate revenue from ads and services. It is no problem for Google to provide free email. The problem is Gmail forces most of email providers to offer free email service too. If you are one dedicate email provider, how could you be possible survive?
For a long run, fewer and fewer email providers exist, Gmail will be a biggest email provider. We are not only lost our privacy, we lost other competitors also.
So one day, we have to give up our privacy for exchanging the email service. This is my big concern.
